The name says it all -  curiosity, unknown and even adventure. These three words best describe Kyrgyzstan. Unknown, as there is little access to the surrounding mountains. Then there's curiosity,  as the locals get around on horseback and are semi-nomadic; but also this is a country entirely off the beaten track,  and very different to  the western lifestyle. Finally adventure, because a trip to Kyrgyzstan is truly epic, as you discover a different,  rocky world full of modest and humble people. Kyrgyzstan is not a place for city dwellers or those who like everything served on a platter. The amazing highlands, the highest of mountains and the pace of nomadic life demand a careful planning as opposed to sudden whims. However, for those ready to take it as it comes,  this country creates memories unlike anywhere else. A  trip of a lifetime with an extraordinary tale to tell, Kyrgyzstan is definitely one to visit!

from the start of the planning stage to the end of our trip, everything was amazing. we were met by the tour guide in the airport. had amazing 12 days. our paraglading trip was cancelled due to weather but we had a nice walk in nature. our guide Ruslan was nice funny and patient. our driver was very nice. food and restaurant suggested were better than expected. we could order whatever we want. and the family cooked dinner.. woow. what can i say? amazing. the music show was very interesting. i was skeptical about yurt stay, but the yurt chosen was perfect for us (on the lake with private bathroom that has hot water❤️) . i cannot thank you enough for arranging such a beautiful trip for us.

The trip took me into corners of Kyrgyzstan that few westerners see. We travelled from the dusty, congested and hot capital city of Bishkek then south through 3 or 4 mountain ranges. Mountains varied from dramatic sharp alpine peaks and valleys with lots of rivers and streams of meltwater to lower rolling dry hills and mountains. We ended up in the flat agriculturally rich lowlands abutting Uzbekistan.
