<p><span class="s1">The village of <strong>Montagu</strong> is truly wonderful with its Cape Dutch style houses, all white with wines, in an exceptional mountain panorama. </span>It is situated just before a magnificent mountain pass, on route 62, a panoramic route at altitude surrounded by multiple estates which produce wine, but also, as a bit of a change, brandy (local cognac), cheese and olives. I loved having lunch there and regret not spending the night. </p>
<p><span class="s1">I still tried the village's famous natural hot water baths, incredibly relaxing! The hotel where the pools are found is well fitted out and the water is at 43°C. It's best to go there as night falls when it is a bit cooler, the summer heat is unbearable during the day. </span></p>
